Detroit’s first and only
non-alcoholic bar.
Coming soon to Detroit’s Eastside…
"To provide a safe, fun and supportive environment for those working towards a better self. Our mission is to be a haven—free of alcohol—where community, connection, and personal enrichment create’s a path toward a greater you."
a little about us…
So.BAR is a forthcoming nonalcoholic bar, providing health benefitting zero-proof cocktails in a relaxing dog-friendly outdoor oasis. Our menu will consist of N/A (nonalcoholic) beers, dealcoholized wines, zero-proof cocktails and kombucha, to be enjoyed in a lush-green environment. As someone who has been in the restaurant industry as a bartender and server for over a decade, I have learned a lot about how to craft a good cocktail and how to deliver an excellent customer experience that is pleasing, fun and keeps customers coming back. The next step in my career is to dedicate my skills and knowledge to providing a warm, welcoming environment for customers in a unique “one-of-a-kind” 3rd space.
The Journey…
Our priority is you, we want you to be the best version of yourself you can be, and that starts with fighting what is holding you back! For many, that is their addiction too alcohol, a leading addictive substance in the world. Our priority is to support each person that takes advantage of what we are offering in freeing themselves from alcohol addiction by offering various events including: sobriety support circles; facilitated by professional counselors, yoga classes, social hours, free movie nights, DJ’d dance parties and live entertainment.
But getting to our full potential is no easy task. That’s where you can step in! Do you own Land or a building in the city you would be open to letting someone use for a pop-up? Are you a builder? An artist with great ideas you’d like to collaborate on? Everyone has some sort of skill that can lead into making this a great thing! It takes a village to raise a chid and community to build a destination we can all be proud of.
